[MapleStorySEA] BRIEF GUIDE on scrolling items using spell-trace AND non-spell-trace scrolls + equipment enhancement

FOR SPELL TRACE SCROLLING:
1) For spell-trace scrolling, click on the book icon on the left side of your screen.

2) Then, click the blue box with a sword image.

3) After clicking through the chat, the window interface will ask you to drag your item for scrolling or equipment enhancement into it.
You can drag items from either your inventory or equipment window, into the window.

4) If there are still available upgrade slots, please make sure that you have the required number of spell traces.
If you do not have enough spell traces, you can:
[1] *Hunt them(spell traces) from monsters*, OR
[2] *Purchase(buy) them from NPC Nadia in towns*, OR
[3] *Purchase them using Silent Crusade coins (100 spell traces requires 35 Silent Crusade coins) -

5) Be sure to choose the correct scroll that you want to use. Please make sure that you choose spell-trace scrolls which add to your PRIMARY STAT.

***IMPORTANT: FOR THIS PURPOSE, IT IS ONLY POSSIBLE TO SEE ALL AVAILABLE SCROLLS IF YOU HAVE A MOUSE WITH A ROLLING(SCROLLING) WHEEL AT THE CENTRE OF IT!!!!***

In the case of gloves, probably only weapon or magic attack is allowed. There are 100%, 70% and 30% spell-trace scrolls. Sometimes, even 10% spell-trace scrolls are available.
For gloves,
100% spell-trace scroll: weapon attack(or magic attack if you are a magician) +1
70% spell-trace scroll: weapon attack(or magic attack if you are a magician) +2 (Yes, this IS 70%, NOT 60%!!!!)
30% spell-trace scroll: weapon attack(or magic attack if you are a magician) +3

FOR NON-SPELL-TRACE SCROLLING:
The skill required can be learnt from NPC "Eurek the Alchemist" just by taking/doing/completing his (currently) only quest, which just requires players to talk to him.
***Eurek the Alchemist can be found in certain towns, like Leafre and El Nath, but NOT in all towns.***
The skill can be learnt for free (no meso cost is involved).
The skill is called "Legendary Spirit", and it will be in the Skill Window's "Beginner Skills".

THIS SKILL CAN ALLOW YOU TO

1) USE NON-SPELL TRACE SCROLLS ON ITEMS WITH AVAILABLE UPGRADE SLOTS;

2) USE SOUL ENCHANTERS ON NON-"SOUL WEAPONS" TO TURN THEM INTO SOUL WEAPONS, ONLY IF THEY PASS,

***WITHOUT*** DESTRUCTION UPON FAILURE;

(^^^Please kindly note that if this does not work, please drag the *Soul Enchanter* from your INVENTORY window, onto your EQUIPPED weapon, which is ONLY FOR YOUR JOB, in the EQUIPMENT window - the equipment window must be open.^^^);

3) GIVE BOSS SOULS TO SOUL WEAPONS WITHOUT BOSS SOULS;

4) GIVE BOSS SOULS TO SOUL WEAPONS WHICH ALREADY HAVE BOSS SOULS.

***(THE OLD BOSS SOUL WILL BE GONE FOREVER,

WHILE THE NEW BOSS SOUL WILL BE THE BOSS SOUL OF THE SOUL WEAPON.)***

EQUIPMENT ENHANCEMENT: 
1) YOUR ITEM MUST NOT HAVE ANY MORE UPGRADE SLOTS, AND YOUR ITEM MUST HAVE AT LEAST ONE UPGRADE SLOT BEFORE IT HAS RECEIVED ANY UPGRADES(any scrolling).

2) For equipment enhancement click on the book icon on the left side of your screen.

3) Then, click the blue box with a sword image.

4) After clicking through the chat, the window interface will ask you to drag your item for scrolling or equipment enhancement into it.
You can drag items from either your inventory or equipment window, into the window.

5) The window should show you the current number of stars the equipment has:
For example: "0 > 1"
means that the item currently has 0 stars.
If you successfully carry out an equipment enhancement on it, the new total number of stars of the item will become 1.

6) Equipment enhancement requires mesos. The meso cost will be displayed. Scrolling up and down in the window, will show you the stats that will be added to the item, if the equipment enhancement is successful.

***It is possible for the number of stars to decrease by one, if you fail an equipment enhancement.

Also, do look out for any % destroying chance, should you fail the equipment enhancement.

AS OF NOW, getting the 1st to the 14th stars do NOT have any destroying chance,
WHILE getting the 15th star onwards has more than 0% destroying chance,
so it is definitely save to get up to 14 stars.***

7) Lower level equipment cannot reach up to 14 stars. There is no issue with that.
